The first round of the MLB Playoffs was incredible, with three of the four series going to a decisive final game. It ended with the Yankees getting an all-time pitching performance from rookie Cam Schlitter. In over a century of baseball, no starting pitcher has ever thrown 8+ innings with 0 earned runs, 0 walks, and 12 strikeouts in a game like this. Now, the focus shifts to the Divisional Series, which kicks off today. Of the eight teams left, Seattle and Milwaukee have never won or been to a World Series, while the Yankees and Dodgers boast a combined 35 championships. The remaining teams bring plenty of star power and compelling storylines. It’s shaping up to be an amazing week of baseball!
If you didn’t catch Thursday’s article, I went 4-2 on the day. We add the original series bets and finished the Wild Card Round up 3.24 units to start the playoffs.
CHICAGO CUBS at MILWUAKEE BREWERS (2:08pm)
nst Cleveland this season. And he lost his final two starts of the year, both against the Guardians. I expect him to be on a short leash, similar to Dylan Cease yesterday. Which is why I like the under in his K’s.
